4. Do you need a “package” deal?

I also found out that I was missing out on some great golf on the ship.  The Carnival Sensation from port Canaveral has its own little Golf course on board and I had no clue.

I knew I would not be able to break away for golf there on the Island but I had in my mind that I would get my chance at Golf on the Sensation.  After returning to the ship, I met up with the Cruise director and she gave me all of the details of where this Golf Course was located and what I needed to do to get in the game.I had no clue how difficult it would be to get a little bit of time to myself just to break away and enjoy one little round.  There were 2 days left on my trip and every time I had a chance I made my way toward to Lido Deck to try to get in a round or two.Every time I tried to make a break for it, I ran into my family and for the remainder of the trip I had no luck at breaking away to enjoy a round of Golf.

I am telling this story to help other husbands and dads in advance of their Cruise.  If you are going to travel, you want to do your homework.  Find out if the Cruise Line offers any Golf Vacation Packages.You need to get this information before you leave and try to talk your wife into letting you break away for a couple of rounds.
